A native of Port Aransas, Chris grew up along the Texas coast and has lived by the water his entire life. Ever since he was old enough to take his skiff out on the water, Chris has been passionate about boating and fishing. His extensive knowledge of the local waters and boating community makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

Danny Blood
Danny grew up on the west coast waters, migrated to the east coast waters, and is fortunate now to be on the gulf waters in Port Aransas. He received his captain's license in 1984. Danny's diverse coastal experience and long-standing captain's credentials make him a valuable advisor for clients navigating different boating environments.

Carter Drummond
Growing up on the waters of South Padre Island, Carter developed a deep passion for fishing, surfing, and boating that evolved into a lifelong career on the water. He earned his captain's license at 18 and began running sportfishing boats, gaining invaluable experience in vessel operation, maintenance, and performance. Carter's career has taken him to renowned fishing grounds from the Bahamas to Costa Rica and Mexico, giving him extensive knowledge of diverse vessels and marine environments. He takes pride in helping clients find the perfect boat to match their lifestyle and needs. In 2011, Carter and his wife Sarah settled in Port Aransas, where they're raising their two children, Scotti and Chip. His genuine love for the boating lifestyle shines through in every interaction, making him a trusted partner for anyone looking to buy or sell their next vessel.

Captain Tim has spent most of his life in Port Aransas, gaining deep experience and strong industry connections. A licensed 100 Ton Master Captain since 2010, he also runs a successful boat tourism business. Growing up along the Port Aransas waterfront, Dee was destined to enjoy a lifelong passion for boating and fishing. He has maintained a 500 Ton Master's/Captain's License for 35 years. Dee traveled the world in various positions in the maritime industry before returning to his roots in Port Aransas to pursue a career in yacht brokerage.

Peter Young has been an avid fisherman since the age of three. Kerry Henry
Kerry Henry brings 30 years of marine service expertise to Island Boat Works. A Texas Gulf Coast native, he joined in 2014. Previously, he managed service at a Yamaha dealership in Corpus Christi and worked as Regional Service Representative for Yamaha Motor Corporation. He started as an Outboard Technician at Bernie's Boats & Motors in Victoria, Texas. A certified Yamaha Outboard Master Technician since 2009, Kerry's hands-on experience and integrity make him a trusted resource in the coastal boating community. He enjoys fishing and boating with family.

Michael Walker
Captain Michael Walker grew up fishing the bays around Port Lavaca and Port O'Conner, Texas, as well as frequent trips to his grandparent's lakes in Missouri. He served four honorable years in the US Navy and has been a licensed captain since 2008. Michael's military background and extensive captaining experience make him a disciplined and knowledgeable addition to our brokerage team.

Greg "Doc" Keffer
Greg "Doc" Keffer grew up on a ranch in Wyoming. He attended the University of Wyoming and has a MD degree from Creighton University. In 1989 he moved his practice to the Texas coast to pursue his passion for saltwater fishing. Greg's unique background combines medical precision with a love for the ocean, ensuring our clients receive meticulous attention to detail in their boat transactions.

Jay Jones
Growing up in San Antonio, Jay spent time at his family's Aransas Pass home. After graduating from Texas A&M in 1991 and a decade in Houston, he relocated to Port Aransas with his wife and two sons. Jay owned a local boat dealership selling Yamaha Outboards, Contender, Glacier Bay, Pathfinder, and Majek boats before joining Fox Yacht Sales in 2006. A licensed Captain for five years, he enjoys fishing with his sons on their restored 31' Bertram. Jay's outgoing personality and passion make him an ideal broker. He is a licensed Florida broker.
